High CVSS 7.8
CVE-2026-0278
Paloaltonetworks Prisma Access Agent
Multiple protection mechanism failures in the Prisma Access Agent Data Loss Prevention (DLP) component for Windows allow a local user to bypass DLP policy enforcement controls. The Prisma Access Agent on macOS is not affected.
What this means
- Exposure
- Exploitable with local access to the machine, with an ordinary user account and with no action from the victim.
- Impact
- An attacker can read sensitive data, modify or destroy data and take the service offline.
- Weakness
- An intended protection is missing or can be bypassed.
- Likelihood
- Its EPSS score stays low: nothing points to imminent exploitation, which is no reason to leave it unpatched.
