CVE-2026-77649The internment crate 0.8.7 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 9.8 CVE-2026-77650The append-only-vec crate 0.1.9 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 9.8 CVE-2026-77651The arrayref crate 0.3.10 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 9.8 CVE-2026-73532Fluent Forms Pro 6.2.7 contains an embedded malicious code vulnerability introduced via a tampered plugin build served through a decommissioned update server. The tampered build introduced a rogue PHP file (libs/class-license-sync.php), loaded via a require_once directive added to fluentformpro.php, that established a backdoor REST API endpoint, dropped persistent PHP files in mu-plugins and uploads directories, installed a passwordless administrator account, and registered scheduled tasks that survived plugin removal.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 9.8 CVE-2026-73533Ninja Tables Pro 5.2.11 contains an embedded malicious code vulnerability introduced via a tampered plugin build served through a decommissioned update server. The tampered build introduced a rogue PHP file (app/Library/updater/NinjaTableDataSync.php) that established a backdoor REST API endpoint, dropped persistent PHP files in mu-plugins and uploads directories, installed a passwordless administrator account, and registered scheduled tasks that survived plugin removal.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 9.8 CVE-2026-48158use-context-selector is a React useContextSelector hook in userland Between 2026-05-18 15:57:18 and 2026-05-19 15:24:34, the default branch contained malicious commits 9d8481a513b7b0d1c0941b220c69b25de748641b through 6f2dae054ca014068bdbbb4db96006424d674124 that executed remote attacker-controlled code on developer machines during
`npm install`. The commits were removed by force-push, but local clones, forks, and direct-SHA URLs may still contain them, and `npm install` against an affected checkout will still execute the code today. The package was not published to npm. `src/install.js` was added and wired into the `postinstall` script. It fetched a JavaScript payload from an attacker-controlled HTTPS endpoint (configurable via an environment variable), disabled TLS verification, and evaluated the response as code with `require` available. Execution was deliberately skipped on CI and cloud/serverless environments, targeting developer workstations. The second-stage payload was attacker-hosted and cannot be reconstructed. Assume full compromise of anything reachable from a Node process with the user's permissions. Those who ran `npm install` against an affected checkout on a developer machine on or after 2026-05-18 15:57:18 should treat the machine as compromised, rotate every credential the machine could reach, audit account activity** since 2026-05-18 15:57:18, and clean local clones.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 9.3 CVE-2026-48159use-reducer-async is a React useReducer with async actions. It is the open-source ycsunjane/rctl tool built in as an OpenWrt package (librctl.so), started at boot and run as root under the process name kworker to blend in with the kernel's [kworker/*] threads. It opens no listening port; it phones home over cleartext TCP to a hardcoded command-and-control server (command channel 7000, interactive-shell callback 7001) with no authentication and no transport encryption, re-attempting contact roughly every 35 seconds. Its command handler passes any received string to popen() as uid=0, and a reserved rctlbash command returns an interactive root shell. Because the channel is unauthenticated and cleartext, control is not limited to whoever planted it: any party that answers at the C2 address, occupies the network path (DNS or route hijack), or acquires the hardcoded fallback domain obtains unauthenticated remote code execution as root.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 9.8 CVE-2026-18072The Advanced Responsive Video Embedder for Rumble, Odysee, YouTube, Vimeo, Kick … plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via a Hardcoded Backdoor in version 10.8.7. The vulnerability exists because the `_arve_uc_init()` function — registered on WordPress's `init` hook at priority 1 so that it runs before any authentication checks on every request — reads an attacker-supplied token from the `_wplogin` (or `_wpm`) parameter and compares it against a hardcoded SHA-256 hash embedded directly in the plugin source, with no nonce verification, no capability check, and no password validation anywhere in the flow. Because this static hash constitutes a set of universal credentials that are publicly accessible in the plugin's source code, unauthenticated attackers can supply the known token to be authenticated as an arbitrarily selected existing administrator account, gaining full administrative control over the affected WordPress site. This was likely introduced by an attacker who gained commit access to the developers account. Critical CVSS 9.8 CVE-2026-67595VaahCMS versions 2.0.0 through 2.3.4 contain a malicious obfuscated JavaScript payload embedded in the Blade template responsible for rendering security OTP emails, allowing remote attackers to execute unauthorized code in any browser that renders the affected email template with JavaScript enabled. The payload establishes a WebSocket connection to a hardcoded command-and-control endpoint, installs a password-field keylogger using MutationObserver to capture dynamically added inputs, scrapes WhatsApp Web DOM content, and accepts remote commands to redirect or overwrite the rendered page. High CVSS 8.1 CVE-2026-46412@beproduct/nestjs-auth is a NestJS authentication module for BeProduct IDS (Identity Server) with OpenID Connect support. Between 2026-05-11 20:19 UTC and 22:56 UTC, an attacker used a compromised npm publish token to publish 18 malicious versions of `@beproduct/nestjs-auth` (0.1.2 through 0.1.19). The postinstall payload attempted to harvest npm tokens (from `~/.npmrc`); GitHub personal access tokens, OAuth tokens (`gho_*`), and Actions OIDC tokens; AWS credentials (from environment variables and `~/.aws/credentials`); HashiCorp Vault tokens; and other secrets present in environment variables. Version `0.1.20` is a clean republish from the original `0.1.1` source tree. Anyone who installed any version in the range `>=0.1.2 <=0.1.19` should remove the package and clean the npm cache; install the clean version; rotate every credential present in the install environment, including all npm publish tokens, all GitHub PATs and OAuth tokens, AWS access keys, HashiCorp Vault tokens, and any other secret that was in env vars or config files at install time; scan affected hosts for indicators of compromise and, if any are found, treat the host as compromised and reimage; and check committed repository history for unexpected additions in `.claude/` or `.vscode/` directories. The worm is known to commit `setup.mjs` + hook configs to PR branches via automated agent runtimes.NVD analysis in progress Critical CVSS 10 CVE-2026-46421The SAP Cloud Application Programming Model is a tool for building enterprise-grade cloud applications, and cap-js/cds-dbs is the monorepo for SQL database services for that tool. On April 29, 2026, compromised versions of `@cap-js/[email protected]`, `@cap-js/[email protected]`, and `@cap-js/[email protected]` were published. The malicious packages harvested credentials and attempted self-propagation. If a compromised version was installed, all credentials accessible on that machine (npm tokens, cloud provider credentials, SSH keys, GitHub PATs) should be considered compromised. User should upgrade to `@cap-js/sqlite` >= 2.4.0, `@cap-js/postgres` >= 2.3.0, `@cap-js/db-service` >= 2.11.0. If a compromised version was ever installed, rotate all affected credentials. No known workarounds are available. Critical CVSS 9.3
