Elastic Beanstalk adds an AWS-operated Cluster mode that shares applications on EKS

On September 17, 2026, AWS made Elastic Beanstalk’s Cluster mode generally available, running multiple applications on EKS infrastructure fully operated by the service. For a regulated organization managing a portfolio of legacy applications, it is the promise of a single operational baseline without rewriting each workload.
