aerynOS 2026.11 adds Budgie, a new installer, and breaks the Moss package manager CLI
On November 2, 2026, the independent aerynOS distribution ships its 2026.11 ISO with Budgie 10.10.4 as a fourth desktop, an experimental lichen-installer, and a non-backward-compatible reorganization of the Moss package manager CLI. Existing users must relearn their commands.
