High CVSS 7.1

CVE-2026-64209

Linux Linux Kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: qcom: qmp-usbc: Fix out-of-bounds array access in dp swing config swing_tbl and pre_emphasis_tbl are 4x4 arrays (valid indices 0-3), but the boundary check uses "> 4" instead of ">= 4", allowing index 4 to cause an out-of-bounds access.

What this means

Exposure
Exploitable with local access to the machine, with an ordinary user account and with no action from the victim.
Impact
An attacker can read sensitive data and take the service offline.
Weakness
An out-of-bounds read exposes adjacent memory, often leftover secrets.
Likelihood
Its EPSS score stays low: nothing points to imminent exploitation, which is no reason to leave it unpatched.
